Violet-red in colour with medium depth. Gooseberry and plum dominate the nose, with woody tones appearing behind them. On the nose and palate there is a pleasant harmony of black fruit, oak sweetness and a hint of spice. The fruit tones are ripe, the wine is round, with gentle acidity and a medium-long finish. An unshowy, balanced wine.
